ENVIPLAST® was in the Asian Packaging Conference on Green Packaging Revolution. This event was supported by the Asian Packaging Federation (APF) and organized by Indonesian Packaging Federation (IPF). The event’s purpose is to educate Asian companies in the packaging supply chain about the sustainable packaging solutions and the cost benefits to be gained from them.
Taking place on 20-21 November 2013 at the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran – Indonesia, this conference aimed to equip delegates with the knowledge and tools necessary to implement sustainable programs in their corporations for maximum cost and waste savings. Delegates also learnt about Indonesia’s Household Waste Management legislation, and its EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) features. In addition, they found out about the market trends impacting the Asian packaging industry, as well as the latest innovative packaging technologies available.
On the first day, ENVIPLAST® took place as speaker with topic: Bio-degradable Films Towards A Better Environment. This session was to give highlights about environmental concern of using plastic bags/film and also to inform company approach to bio-based bags/film.
The Asian Packaging Conference on Green Packaging Revolution was held in conjunction with the AsiaStar Awards 2013 when the best in packaging in Asia were honoured and recognised in a prestigious ceremony graced by the Indonesian Minister of Environment, Minister of Tourism, and the Minister of Industry.
